AT&T Revealed Android Powered Samsung Infuse 4G

AT&T has unveiled its new 4G smartphone, Samsung Infuse 4G and it has been awarded for being nation’s thinnest smartphone at just 8.99mm in measure.

This phone runs on Google’s Android 2.2 (Froyo) based OS but it is expected to receive Gingerbread treat very soon. Samsung Infuse 4G also comes with  4.5-inch S-AMOLED plus display screen, 1.2GHz processor, 1.3 megapixel (front) and 8 megapixel (back) camera.

Other features include 4G connectivity, HD video recording at 720p resolution, Virtual QWERTY keyboard, expandable memory up to 32GB, Test/Picture and Video Messaging support, U-verse Mobile and U-verse Live TV support.

“When you combine the powerful 1.2 GHz application processor with AT&T’s advanced 4G network, this device will truly be the fastest smartphone Samsung has ever created with AT&T,” said Omar Khan, chief technology officer & chief product officer for Samsung Mobile. “The Infuse 4G is our latest example of Samsung’s global leadership in Android platform smartphones. With every Android Smartphone that we launch, we’re bringing something new and exciting to the market.”

This smartphone will come with preloaded version of Rovio’s Angry Birds game with an exclusive hidden level made only for Samsung Infuse 4G customers. And it is priced for $199 with 2-year contract and will be available in market from May 15th onwards.
